Rachael Zoe, a favorite celeb of mine has had baby! It actually shocks me but I am super thrilled for the new season of the Rachael Zoe Project to see this mommy in action. Rodge, her hubby, was so excited with her and his new little man Skyler that he popped a "push gift" on her. And popped is an understatement, we are talking 10 carat diamond cushion cut ring!! I know right. So this morning there was major controversy between the sexes on the appropriateness of the all new popular "push gift." Oh yeah, I was as shocked as the next to here women express nationally that they didn't feel it was necessary to receive a gift of appreciation. Well let me just say those women are whack, they have either never given birth or are trapped in some twisted world, I wanted to call and say, "Ladies, please! You may not want a gift for labor and delivery but don't ruin it for those of us who would enjoy the thought and appreciation." One lady actually said her gift, she felt like, was feeling her baby kick...hmm OK well nothing would seal the deal of endless nites of kicks and squirms like a strongly iced finger!

I'm wondering, will I receive a "push gift"? Although my expectations are quite smaller than Mrs. Zoe. I mean there is like a million people involved in this excitement, surely a peace of jewelry would ease my mind and quickly start the recovery. And with two, I know women do it all the time, but lets remember...I am not that typical woman!
