Pregnancy is very different each and every go around, and although I have only had two previous, this one seems to beat the pastimes. Yesterday I was at the doctor to find that everything is going well, the belly is growing and is a little larger than average but extremely normal for twins, and with minimal weight gain, I can deal with that. And no, there will be NO progression pictures on this blog...sorry.
To mention a few of the differences lets start with the kiddies, Esta Marie, when asked, "Esta, whats in mommy's belly," she replies "mamie babies." Not a typical response. Raelyn's friends on the other hand still cant quite figure why my mid section is expanding yet Raelyn is adamant that she is not having another sibling. And lastly, the hub...yes he was involved in the previous pregnancy but that worry factor for this one is on maximum hiatus. He is completely convinced that there is something seriously wrong with me because I enjoy 1-2 hr naps daily, of course the doctor reminded him that the two little lemons where literally sucking the life out of me.
For me, I feel almost guilty about telling people that I am a surrogate, like I'm being showy about it. Which in fact I am not, I just feel it is only fair to be honest with others as well as my self that these are not my babies. No one likes to be mislead.
