take a deep breath.

The hub and I joined a couples group that focuses on successful marriages. No our marriage is not on the rocks, it is always good to reconnect and make sure your doing all you can do to make your spouse happy. Anyway, in the most recent session the topic was on your  focus, and to relax..be diligent but not determined. Press on for what you want but be careful of your sacrifices.

It isn't a chore for me to beat myself up for not having this thriving career that I swore I would always have. And then I remind myself that my career isn't booming for a reason, clearly my KIDS! I chose to raise my children to the best of my ability and focus on my career at a later date, no surrogacy was not my career of choice, ha ha.

I have always put my hand in many different pots and used to have a hard time saying no. Here recently it hasn't been as hard, my brain might say sure but my body and my mouth have no problem saying no!
The Lord does say in Psalms 23:2 "He makes me lay down in green pastures," so maybe this double blessing is Him saying its time for me to lay low for awhile, eating what I want is my green pasture :)

Maybe you weren't given baby A and baby B but there is still plenty of room to relax. Its hard to loose focus and feel the need to conquer the world, but the most important thing is family. Believe me I am preaching to the choir right now, if anyone needs reminding of the importance of time with your hubby and babes it me!
Hug them a little extra today and take a deep breathe, tomorrow brings another 24hrs.
